The time has come - Wally Hayes

Hi everyone

The time has come as residents of Tamahere to either put forward your thoughts on how you see Tamahere developing from here on in, or at least come along to the Tamahere hall Thursday 29 July 3pm to 7.30pm for the public open day to better understand the issues and options that have evolved so far for what is only the start of the Waikato District Council led process.

For legal reasons this review of Tamahere deals only with the issues of future development within the extensive Tamahere Country Living Zone.

For the other half of Tamahere residents that live in the rural zone, for those of you that don't know, there is also a District Wide review being worked through currently at Council that has the potiential to seriously affect alot of rural landowners. The second stage of public participation for that review is set down for the end of the year.

If you are reading this and the 29th July has come and gone and you would like to be updated on progress or you either have some concerns or idea's to put forward, do not hesitate to ring me on 8566616.

The decision making process does not happen until mid next year !!

Kind regards

Wally Hayes
